Armel Le Cleac’h
Armel Le Cléac’h, was born on May 11th, 1977 in Saint-Pol-de-Léon in the Finistère region of France.
Must we still have to introduce this exceptional sailor? When you’re only but forty years old and you’ve won two races in the Solitaire du Figaro, two more in the Transat AG2R, second place in the Route du Rhum ending with a victorious win in The Transat and the last Vendée Globe, there shouldn’t be a need.
Rigorous, methodical, and thorough, Armel is a true pro who leaves nothing to chance when preparing himself. We often hear about his fighting spirit and his determination at sea, as well as his ability to never give up… to always be on the alert.
We mustn’t forget his other strengths: in his constant quest for better performance, he is also a fine strategist with experience acquired around the world.
For Armel, only victory is beautiful.
Understandably, Armel le Cleac’h decided to equip himself with the WRX Pirate Shadow. Resistant to the harshest impacts and climates, water-resistant well beyond current standards, and equipped with record precision and autonomy, the WRX Pirate Shadow is an essential tool for this skipper.
Armel Le Cléac’h also wears a WRX Midnight Blue and has been seen in town wearing a Royal ACADEMY.
