An automatic movement is a mechanical movement that is wound by movement from the wearer’s wrist. An oscillating weight (rotor) rotates freely around a hub and any movement from the wrist helps to reset the spiral (power source) and thus to charge the power reserve.
An automatic movement consists of more than 70 parts, the smallest of which are thinner than a hair (0.07 mm). All these mechanical components work continuously in unison for the second hand to move smoothly.
To set the date: unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first notch (1st click).
Turn the crown upwards to set the date.
To set the time: pull the crown out to the 2nd notch (2nd click) and turn the hands clockwise until you reach the correct time.
Once the date and time have been set, push the crown back until you feel a slight resistance, then push it by turning it gently upwards until it comes to a stop.
If your watch stops, simply put it back on your wrist and it will start again.

At the forefront of technology, the RALF TECH’ Hybrid RTH002 mechanism is at the crossroads of two worlds. In fact, Hybrid movement is both a quartz energy system combined with a self-winding mechanism.
The Hybrid system produces the energy needed to power it by using the user’s wrist movement. This energy is then stored in an accumulator with a life span of more than 20 years. As it operates without batteries, this movement has a very low impact on the environment and can achieve extraordinary energy savings: 100 million watches equipped with the Hybrid movement system wouldn’t use more energy than a 100-Watt light bulb!
The miniature Hybrid generator contains a rotor suspended by magnetic levitation. It can reach up to 100,000 rpm, 5 times the maximum speed of a Formula 1 engine. This innovative system provides unparalleled precision. On average, our Hybrid movement RTH002 is simply 15 times more accurate than a traditional automatic movement.
When fully charged, a RALF TECH watch equipped with the RTH002 Hybrid mechanism can operate for up to 150 days after last wearing it and will restart in an instant as soon as it is put back on, even past the 150-day limit.
To set the date: unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first notch (1st click). Turn the crown upwards to set the date and Turn the crown downwards to set the day.
To set the time: pull the crown out to the 2nd notch (2nd click) and turn the hands clockwise until you reach the correct time.

The autonomy of your WRX or WRV Hybrid can exceed 150 days once the battery is fully charged. The battery charge will be indicated by the second hand. If it is moving in irregular or jerky movements within a two second interval, it is time to recharge the Hybrid system. To do this, simply wear your WRX or WRV timepiece for at least a few hours.
When you first use your Hybrid watch, it is quite normal for the hands to jump from two to two. The hybrid movement is both a quartz energy system and a self-winding mechanism. It therefore needs the energy necessary for its power supply to calibrate itself and increase its power reserve.
If your RALF TECH timepiece is worn every day, it should be calibrated in about a week.
The power reserve increases as you wear your watch. The more it is worn, the more you will reach the power reserve indicated on the technical product description. On the contrary, the less you wear it, the more the power reserve will run out and cause the watch to stop.
From a technical standpoint, it is important to know that your battery charge is proportional to one third of the time you spend wearing it. For example, if you have been wearing your watch for 3 weeks, you will have 1 week of power reserve.
Another example is that a watch with a 150-day power reserve should be worn continuously for at least 300 days to reach its maximum power reserve.
Before any immersion in water, please ensure that a leak test has been carried out within the previous 24 months. The salt contained in seawater, your skin’s acidity, and cosmetic products, can damage your watch’s seals and alter its level of water-resistance.
In case of any doubt as to the condition of the seals that ensure your watch’s water-resistance, it is recommended to contact the RALF TECH Customer Service Center or one of our authorized RALF TECH dealers.
Make sure that the crown of your watch is pushed back and screwed-in as far as possible in order to preserve its water-resistance in case of immersion.
A strong change in temperature may cause slight condensation under your watch’s glass. This fog will disappear after a few minutes and will not affect your watch’s performance. However, if condensation persists, we invite you to contact your RALF TECH Customer Service Center or one of our authorized RALF TECH dealers as soon as possible.
In order to avoid this type of problem, we suggest that you remove your watch in the following situations: hot shower, hot bath, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room….
Your RALF TECH watch is a sophisticated instrument. Whatever its movement (automatic, automatic chronograph, hybrid), it consists of a multitude of components and parts that contribute to its various functions.
The mechanical nature of these parts will unavoidably cause wear and tear, which can be managed by maintenance, and by lubricating and replacing worn parts.
Although we regularly clean everything we wear, we tend to neglect to clean our watch.
To maintain your watch’s aesthetic appearance and ensure that it is working properly, it is recommended to clean it regularly by keeping in mind the following instructions:
When cleaning, first make sure that the crown is screwed on tightly.
If your watch’s seals have been replaced and checked by the RALF TECH Authorized Service Center or by one of our RALF TECH Authorized Resellers within the last 24 months, use a soft brush with slightly soapy water, then rinse it with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
RALF TECH bracelets have been developed specifically by our workshop. They have been manufactured with the most refined materials and constitute in themselves a very high-quality product.
All natural leather objects must be treated with care. Their life span varies significantly depending on the conditions they are worn in. In particular, water, cosmetics, and perspiration accelerate leather’s aging process.
If necessary, RALF TECH bracelets/straps should be cleaned in warm water and left to dry. It is important not to let them dry on or near a hot surface and not to expose them directly to the sun because if the water evaporates too quickly, it can deform the leather and/or reduce their inherent properties.
After swimming in the sea or in a pool, rinse off your RALF TECH watch’s silicone or nylon strap with clean, warm water.
To replace the bracelet, it is recommended to contact the RALF TECH Customer Service Center or authorized RALF TECH dealers. This will prevent the inconvenience of an incorrect replacement. You will also find a tool in the case to replace it yourself.
Only the RALF TECH Customer Service Center or authorized RALF TECH dealers can guarantee the use of original RALF TECH bracelets designed to fit the case’s size and manufactured according to the brand’s quality standards.
